keep the domain; start a blog. if you don't like the logo - let it go.
or get rid of the domain. up to you!
nothing bad happens if you keep them; or get rid of them. I assume you paid a year or two worth of the domain.
The best thing you could do is maybe make use of the resource now that you have it. The worst is maybe to not make use of it. (actively doing yourself harm aside...)
The don't think having a domain name is a reason to start or not start a blog. It shouldn't factor into the decision as domain names are cheap.
