I don't understand why you are quoting that. Are you trying to suggest that the people arguing for those things have strong arguments that I haven't understood?
("Real internal reasons" in the article seems to mean "arguments" and "real insight", so something like "he believes Jews eat babies because he is prejudiced against Jews" would not count as a real internal reason.)
