No. A-(assertion)-ism is fine.

Assertions can be true, false, incoherent, and other things. Most statements are not true. Single, otherwise perfectly fine statements that imply the falsity of many multitudes of similar otherwise perfectly fine statements cannot be justified by the claim that, in general, otherwise perfectly fine statements get the presumption of validity or consideration. However much one says it is important not to judge statements such as assertions of monotheism, that applies to the statements monotheism excludes, which are more numerous.
