theism already has a ton of evidence for it

Like I said in an earlier comment, you can't just state this without a justification to this audience. It may well be that there's a perfectly good justification for this statement, but we're at the wrong inferential distance for it. If you want us to update on this supposed evidence for theism you're going to have to guide us to it, via short, individually supported, straight-forward steps.

This is very weak evidence; consider ideas like the aether, or the standard whipping-boy 'round these parts, phlogiston.
