But you aren't a native speaker, are you? (I notice that you have said elsewhere that you live in Italy.)
I'm not, but I do immediately notice ‘actual’ grammar errors such as “it's” instead of “its” etc.
ETA: And my prediction wasn't based on my personal intuition alone, but on what I've read on Language Log.
