I don't see how that's any different from all the other age groups ;-).
We are out of it, so we can bitch about ;-).
Being able to patronise the young is the only advantage of age
Failing health is the only disadvantage of age. In every other way, the years just make things better.
Other people and governments knowing about it and changing how rules and expectations apply are pretty darn big disadvantages for both young, old, and in between, in different situations and ways.
This is too abstract for me to have any idea what you're talking about.
