I'd be invited to a party. I'd feel paralyzing fear, and a sense of impending doom as I noticed that I likely believed going to the party was the right decision.

Hah! I know that feeling so well. Then when I notice it, I feel doomed AND stupid!

This sounds like a good technique for dealing with social phobias or ADHD, but I hope you don't use it for complex, long-chain-single-point-of-failure personal or ethical problems. Those are areas where emotions stop us from doing terrible things because we forgot to carry the 1 in column 3.
