'Useful for nature'? What is that?
(Also, I am not a Ph.D in math, but I tell you this: you can add apples and oranges, if you are interested in the set consisting of both these sets. Like, how much ascorbic acid would I get from eating 2 such-and-such apples and 3 such-and-such oranges.)
