I started reading the sequences so that I could make better decisions at work.  I just finished book 1C (Noticing Confusion) and a lot of the essays are over my head.  I usually only understand bits and pieces of what is being said.  Is this common?  Are there parts of the sequences where it's OK if I don't understand it, but others I must grasp?

Hello!

I work as a football coach and I am welcoming more rationality in this field. Now, there is basically only subjectivity, feelings and emotions.

I will read up on and try to implement this into the football world.

Thanks,

Alexander

Goodmorning lesswrong community,

I have been a visitor to the site for about 6mths now, and felt it was time to step forward and introduce myself. I am a single mother of 4 from Canada. I am not very educated but still consider myself to be an intellectual with a thirst and hunger for knowledge and greater understanding of the world, and the challenges we face. I believe I bring a unique perspective and many interesting theories to a variety of topics. I look forward to learning from you all and hope to cultivate my public writing ability. Thank you all for contributing in creating such a great discussion space.

Angela
