I thought Aubrey de Grey was not a libertarian. Anyone know the score there?

I heard he uploaded mice brains to computers so that the mice could be immortal. A leap forward for both singulitarianists and life-extensionists, but libertarian Ron Paul won't allow federal funding.

I agree with this. Transhumanism, cryonicism, scientology, and the singularity sound to me like the stories of Santa Claus and the Tooth fairy.
