Sing karaoke...

Now I can't get this image out of my head of Eliezer singing 'I am the very model of a singularitarian '...

Fund it.

I think LW city-specific posts should we used, rather than requiring a visit to an outside site, this being a good example:

However, the name of the location should be posted as well as its address; and some clearly visible notifier should be available at the table, if it's in public.

Well, crap. I missed you then, I had a little section set up in the corner; left just before nine. I'm sorry.

Squires and I had a chat for a couple hours and we think that, next time, the organizer should spam the table with paperclips; would make it more obvious who's who. I saw you in the corner with a red shirt, but you were far from any door, of which there were three. :)

On a more serious note, let's do somewhere more central next time. South Minneapolis/Edina would be better. I'm coming from NE.

Not sure if I'll still be in town then, but if I am I'll be there!

Likewise.

Freaking awesome. I tried to pull this together HERE without success. I'm in as far as I know.

You seem to know this area... suggestions for parking? I'm a St. Paul-ite and Mpls freaks me out when it comes to parking and driving around there in general.

Don't know how I missed that, but I'm in for this one. I have two days to catch up on months of LW posts or I'll be hopelessly outdated.

I'm parking northwest of Dinkytown and walking; it's a nice area.

I've heard the Purple Onion is a nice place but haven't been in. Do you think they could comfortably fit 20 or so people if we get that many?

Comment author: Helloses 19 September 2009 05:42:40PM 0 points [-]

Unfortunately, not that many, I'd say.

I'd attend; could be fun.

How about the Purple Onion? They have comfortable, wingback chairs. :)
