My name is Vadim Kosoy. Born in the USSR in 1983, immigrated to Israel in 1990. Married to the incredible Julia Raichman. Our son Amos was born in 2010.

An autodidact with official education limited to a BSc in Math (Tel-Aviv University) and inofficial education spanning across math (differential geometry, algebraic geometry, category theory...), physics (quantum field theory, general relativity, a little bit of string theory...), a bit chemistry, a bit molecular biology and a bit complexity theory. Enjoy history (learned a lot from Wikipedia articles, mostly Western history between the 5th century and the 19th).

I worked since 2004 in the software industry, mostly in computer vision. Currently I work on FAI research about 50% of my time. You can find my FAI work on agentfoundations[1] and earlier stuff on LessWrong[2].

I'm active in the Tel-Aviv LessWrong meetup which btw is great, drop by if you're in the area!

I'm completely open to receiving personal messages.

I hate it when people downvote content only because they disagree with it. I think it ruins the community experience for everyone.
