A discussion of books/podcasts/talks/movies that you thought may be interesting for your fellow rationalists. Of cause you can suggest another discussion topic or activity. This time the meeting starts a bit later so we can go for some food/drinks and socializing afterwards.

Hello everybody. I think it would be great to have a LessWrong meeting in August. However, since it's holiday/vacation time, I am not sure how many are around so please indicate if will or may join. Activities: - I can give a short talk about deliberate practice and its possible application to applied rationality. - Discussion of interesting books for the summer break: tell about the last book that impressed you, learn about new books from others. - Other contributions are welcomed and encouraged. Please leave a comment if there is a topic or an article you want to discuss. - We can always play Zendo :-)

the first meetup after the Christmas holidays. We'll be talking about the difference between frequentists and bayesianists and discuss the quantum physics sequence. Further topics are welcomed and we encourage new people to come and say 'hi'.

The next Munich meetup will take place on December 13th. We will play the calibration game and discuss recent articles people read. You are highly welcome to come and say hi, no matter how long you’ve been reading LessWrong.

You are invited to come to the June Munich LW Meetup! We're planning to meet outside the mathematics building at the LMU. Depending on the weather, we'll stay outside or occupy a free room inside the math department. If anyone would bring food for the group, it would be awesome. :) It goes without saying that newcomers are very welcomed.
