Note: I am a new user on this site, so I don't know what topics are forbidden here. I am testing the waters with this topic; in case it is unsuitable for this forum, please be kind to me and don't boot me out of here. Thanks!

I have read several articles with authors protesting the sexual objectification of women in some advertisement, movie or game, followed by a lot of comments that claim that it isn't sexual objectification, but appreciation of the nude form of the human body and sexuality and not really objectification.

I always get confused by this terminology, so I ask - Where do we draw the line between Appreciation of the nude form/sexuality and Sexual objectification? How do we decide if someone has crossed that line?

I request your opinion on this, dear reader and any articles or examples in this context will be much appreciated.
