The URL for the Fort Lauderdale meetup is broken. It should be: http://lesswrong.com/meetups/90
Meetup : Fort Lauderdale
Discussion article for the meetup : Fort Lauderdale
As usual, during this meeting we will be bringing articles of interest to discuss. We are very informal and all newcomers are encouraged to join in, even if they can't stay the whole time. We will usually have gone out for food as a group around 8pm, but typically reconvene afterward unofficially for a while longer. For more information, contact Lance Bush at cfibroward@gmail.com.
Additional specific articles and topics may be brought in by Lance to help seed discussion. Details will be published soon.

(I'm posting the meetup on the behalf of Grand Abraham and Lance Bush, while they're just getting started with their karma.)
Thanks! One minor issue: the time zone is EDT, which is GMT-4 current, not -7 as listed.
(also, it is spelled "Grant" Abraham. :P)
A group listed for Fort Lauderdale, Florida started up recently (less than 1 month ago) and could use a little help attracting folks and making our presence known. Could you add it under helpful reminders? I created an account here last night, and am still learning the site's system.
Another member had posted our listing over a month ago on the regular meetups page.

Ah! Thanks for the correction on your name :)
I'm not sure why it's showing up as GMT -7, but there doesn't seem to be a way to alter the time zone - the only controls are for setting the local time of the meetup. So yes, to any attendees, this is at 6 PM at the time local to Ft Lauderdale.
Thanks to some quick karma (apparently 2 is the minimum for adding meetups), I was able to post next week's meetup for our group: http://lesswrong.com/meetups/91
I also figured out the time zone issue: Apparently the system pulls from your local (computer's set) timezone. I would see that as an unintentional bug due to the side effect of the general intended submission process.
Without getting too off-topic, where can I report that issue? Is there a Bugzilla/issue tracker for this sort of thing, or is it a byproduct of the Reddit CMS?
