Update: I'm pretty sure that making and running this site would be illegal in many jurisdictions.

Yeah, I think my ideal site would be some combination of PredictionBook and LongBets. I may code one myself, if I can't find one.

(...and by code one myself, I mean find a friend to help me, because I'm worthless at coding!)

I have one, and it's far less comfortable.

Besides, buying these sorts of masks new should be left to healthcare workers or ("essential" workers) and those that most need them. The rest of us should wear cloth masks.

This highly depends on mask quality and fit. A well fiting high quality oneshould be about as comfortable as a cloth mask.

Healthcare workers workers use disposeable masks. Reuseable one's like the above are a good solution for people who can use masks that are not certified for healthcare use.

must free of anything ending -ate (except stearate) or -ic acid; free of magnesium except magnesium stearate (it's insoluble)

The only product you link violates this. It contains stearic acid...

edit: Chris explains this here: https://chrismasterjohnphd.com/podcast/2016/12/26/zinc-definitely-fights-colds-youre-probably-using-wrong-kind/#comment-48164

" The stearate isn’t a problem. I was trying to simplify. "

Huh, yeah. Thanks for pointing that out. Annoyingly, "the stearate isn't a problem" doesn't answer the question, which is about stearic acid. I assume he meant to say that stearic acid is fine too, but I've posted a comment there to clarify.

Completely agreed. I even publicly announced on my Facebook when Bitcoin was USD that I was buying 100USD worth, but then once I looked into how to even convert USD to Bitcoin, I said "eh, not worth, even it for some interesting economic experiment".
