done. unboldened the top section and added a "summery break."

is a "summery break" the same as a "page-separation line?" i dont really see what a "summery break" does, but it was the closest thing i saw to a "page seperation line."

A summery break is like a winter break but warmer. A summary break is, I'm pretty sure, what Elo meant by a page-separation line. If your article looks like A [summary break] B, then: * When it appears in a list of articles, A will appear along with a link to the full article. * When it is viewed on its own, you will see A and then B. It doesn't produce any visual separation beyond an ordinary paragraph break; if you want more than that, you could e.g. put a horizontal rule after the summary break and before B.

thanx. gave you some karma points too.

unfortunately i still don't see an edit button.

my karma score is now zero; at least that's better than negative.

i remember i needed at least two karma points to make a post.

i wonder if the wiki has anything to say about this.

i know i'm not overlooking something because i've edited this post before, but now i dont see the option to edit.

the edit icon should be next to the floppy disk icon to "unsave" in the bottom right corner of the post.

i can send you a screen shot if that helps.

i still think its because of karma.

most likely karma. Try ask for a few spare karma points in the open thread so that you can get this fixed.

i don't see how i can edit, or add a page-break. i was able to edit before but now o don't see an edit button. is it perhaps because i have a negative karma score? i'm new here.

could be. I gave you a few more points to make you positive again. Try now?

Are you sure you have enough copies of that link there? There are only four, and two of your paragraphs don't have one. (If you're trying for some SEO thing, please note that links from LW comments get rel="nofollow" on them and therefore don't provide extra googlejuice. I wouldn't be at all surprised to find that Google gives less weight to a link when it sees several instances of it in rapid succession, because that's a thing spammers do.)
