But this is not the narrator speaking. It is written on a picket sign by a protester. ;-) I think that a lot of english-speaking people would make that kind of mistake, which makes that picket sign quite believable, in my opinion.

yeah i would honestly be kind of surprised if I saw a picket sign that says 'AI for whom' I have not heard an American person use the word whom in a long time

It looks like this link is dead.

Do you have a correct link? Or the title of the video?

I would be very interested in watching it (if I have not already).

I remember reading that Tolkien once observed what a beautiful sound the phrase “cellar door” makes; and that this is the kind of awareness it takes to use language like Tolkien. ;-)

Well, here's the thing. I'm not going to end up killing anyone

I don’t get it. If I make an inconsistent choice, is this Omega going to kill me or not? Or is this uncertainty part of the problem?

I think in-story you believes that you will be killed if you make an inconsistent choice (or at least thinks there is a high enough chance that they do choose consistently).  The point of the post isn't so much the specific set up, as it is an attempt to argue that Newcomb's problem doesn't provide any reason to be against causal decision theory.

I do. Currently in Reims.

The current link seems to be nonworking. Does anyone know the title of what is supposed to be linked here?
