I don't know of an official policy, but swearing can be distracting. Avoid?
I advocate the use of the term Bullshit. Both because it a good description of a significant form of bias and because the profanity is entirely appropriate. I really, really don't like seeing the truth distorted like that.
More generally I don't particularly object to swearing but as RobinZ notes it can be distracting. I don't usually find much use for it.
I'd propose to use the word "bulshytt" instead. ;)
