It's laudable that simplico changed their mind and said so in plain terms, but I would encourage you to upvote only those articles which are the sort you'd like to see more of on LW.
Yes, I would like to see more posts of people that are wrong and realize it. Additional bad posts on Less Wrong is good compared to an atmosphere where people are afraid to be publicly wrong.
I also sometimes treat karma relatively . This post should be somewhere between -1 and 0 and it was at -2 when I upvoted.
