So, at the time of writing, this comment is at -16, which suggests that a lot of us have set our preferences to display all comments regardless of score.
Should we, perhaps, be more trusting of our fellow readers, and actually accept the existence of a threshold below which comments get hidden?
I've upped mine to 1 and will probably raise it further.
