Stop making really long posts I don't want to read. This is way more annoying than any imaginary september of infinite lameness

Well that is just ironic.

As an extra data point, I didn't read this article nor the previous long one (didn't downvote them either!) because they were just too long; I typically only read long articles if they are heavily upvoted or written by somebody who usually writes good stuff, or are on a topic I'm very curious about.

Ahh, well that's some insight. Thank you Emile.

Long posts are normally stories about something, or technical explations. In the trollin case, three meta threads, no agreement. "Meta" is a love word for this community, but could be more restricted to people who already are close to the SI, or work for them. Or extremely moderated.
