Diplomacy has come up before. (The first game was here.) I tried to arrange games on WebDiplomacy (like here) but I don't recall all that much coming from it--I remember at least one game failing to start because we had seven people sign up but only six actually made the transition to WebDiplomacy, and so on.
Especially if you're doing a slow game where time zones are less important, I suspect it may be better to just start a LW game with a password posted here, so that there's only one sign-up.
You would need to commit to about 15 minutes per day on average
While it is possible to play Diplomacy this way, I'm not sure this is what I would present it as. I've typically found myself spending much more time thinking about games.
(I may be interested if I'm needed to make a game happen, but I probably should be spending my time on other things.)
If it's worth saying, but not worth its own post (even in Discussion), then it goes here.
