A hidden question of mine is actually how to present them here - copypaste into this space to do a dual post, or merely post links and brief summaries.

You could do what I do: copypaste, and then six months later after all the discussion is done, delete the LW copy and replace it with a link & summary. Best of both worlds, IMO.
