I think clarity is saying: a simple idea that explains all human motivation for ever is "incentives". Although I personally am not sure that it is wrong.

Simple Ideas That Explain Everything But Are Wrong? 'incentives'

is a very short post; makes it hard for people who don't get it to catch up. (no offence: I believe he meant it to be short to follow the rule of "simple ideas")
