Thank you for doing this!

Not a comment on the overview, but on LW2.0 itself: are you intentionally de-emphasizing comment authorship by making the author names show up in a smaller font than the text of the comment? Reading the comments under the roadmap page, it feels slightly annoying that the author names are small enough that my brain ignores them instead of registering them automatically, and then I have to consciously re-focus my attention to see who wrote a comment, each time that I read a new comment.

That was indeed intentional, but after playing around with it a bit, I actually think it had a negative effect on the skimmability of comment threads, and I am planning to try out a few different solutions soon. In general I feel that I want to increase the spacing between different comments and make it easier to identify the author of a comment.

I think I would prefer information density. I am annoyed by the classic mybb type forum of low density of comments and prefer the more, "Facebook" style density but it will shorten comments to go that dense. So a balance close to the current density would be my suggestion.
