that was a lot less helpful than I expected it to be.

TL;DR - anything and everything. Do small things. Do something with structure or regularity, or you will want to anyway, (work for several people), consider a terrible mantra about how everything is hopeless but you are still above zero. "I lived through today" or something. pets help some; not others.

The takeaway might be that at least some people find things that help, and you need to find something that suits you.

What were you hoping for from the links?

the posts were not very well organised. would have been more helpful if they were ordered like problem: feelings: tried: what worked:

they were mostly a mess of all the above in any order; along with a lot of "hope things get better for you".

maybe it's all in my head expecting content to be more ordered and rationally oriented.

I didn't have a need right now; but strategies are always good to have in times of preparation for when things go drastically wrong. (even for advising other people in circumstances)

was hoping for more is all. not a big deal.
