Lesswrong.com and the facebook group were very quiet this week. (The slack doubled in volume to be around 18k messages this week)
Any ideas why?
Possibly just random? There's a feedback effect where if LW is quiet one day, there's less to respond to the next day so it is likely to remain quiet -- so I think smallish random fluctuations can easily produce week-long droughts or gluts.
