I think you should consider the possibility that treating your experience as being in a Basilisk simulation is directly harming you and likely to harm others regardless of whether you are actually in a Basilisk simulation or not. We may be in a simulation; there's no way to really know. But what makes you think that it's specifically being run by a Basilisk? Such entities are just a tiny sliver of an iota of the space of possibilities, but are a recent meme to which some people have demonstrated a strong emotional reaction. The phrase "can't shake my belief that I am in one of the Basilisk's simulations" seems to be a warning sign that you may be in the latter situation.

I think this is a misunderstanding of what "oversampling" means in polling. See e.g. this.
