What happens when you comment on an old pre-LW imported Overcoming Bias post? Does your comment go to the bottom or the top?

Just curious.

Obviously, the thing to do is to reply to an established comment so that the order of comments is maintained. Does voting on old comments now change their order? If so, I should stop doing that..

Best yet, it seems any new comments you want to make might best be exported to an open thread? For historical authenticity of the post and its original comments.

Even if it doesn't go to the bottom under the default setting, you can choose "Old" from the dropdown menu next to "Sort By" to view comments in chronological order (this preserves threads).

It goes to the bottom. At least, it has in my experience.

I once asked about commenting on old posts. People seemed okay with it.
