Since 2011, some rationalists have observed the winter solstice, as a secular ritual celebrating human achievement in the face of a confusing, often terrifying world.
Waterloo's first rationalist solstice ceremony will be on December 14, 2024. We hope to see you there! But please, RSVP.
Pricing is PWYC and very informal - if you can afford to, toss like $20 into our Ko-fi here at some point between now and the 14th, but please do not do this if this would be burdensome to you. (This will help cover snacks, drinks, and pizza at the afterparty.)
Location
181 King St S. Someone will be at the entrance to let you in.
Schedule
Doors open: 6:00 pm Ritual: 6:30-8:00 pm (please, no late arrivals or interruptions at this time) Informal social: 8:00 - 9:30pm Afterparty: 9:30pm until late
