We're organizing a new meetup for the ACX fan community and anyone else interested!
The meetup will take place outdoors in the Jardin Du Carousel, near the Louvres, at position https://plus.codes/8FW4V86J+GH and should start around 6pm. (Though we're shopping for fallback locations since it looks like it might rain.)
I'll bring nametags and markers, and a tablecloth to sit on. I'll also bring a small amount of drinks and snacks, though participants are encouraged to bring some. There is no shop close to the meetup point.
The usual attendance to these meetups has been 10-20 people. So far 15 people have replied to the Framadate poll. A majority of participants are native french speakers but using english has so far not been an issue. So don't hold back because of a lack of fluency in either.
Similarly, while discussions tend to gravitate around rationalist themes (self-improvement, effective altruism, AI risk, etc), in the past people unfamiliar with the rationalist community have been perfectly able to join discussions and bring something of their own. So please come, and feel free to bring friends, whether they're interested in ACX, LW, rationality, or just nerdy discussions in general.
