Next Bi-weekly PEAR Meet-Up:

Please feel free to come even if you feel awkward about it, even if you’re not ‘the typical Rationalist/EA/ACX reader’, or even if you’re worried people won’t like you, etc. We have conversations at all levels, about many different things, and there is a spot for you at the table :D.

When: Sunday, August 29th, 5:00pm

Where: Oregon Park. Our table will have a whiteboard saying “PEAR” in big green letters, there will also be two tables and some picnic blankets.

What: we will talk about Predictive Processing! There will also be food, drinks, and games available like Zendo, Codenames, and Taboo.

Conditions:

IF outdoor conditions are not safe (less than 100 microcovids, less than 100 AQI) or tolerable (rain or less than 100’F Temp) THEN we will use google meets at https://meet.google.com/ehm-xrnb-cmp.

We encourage people to use MicroCovid as a way of determining the risk budget you are willing to allocate to an in-person event.
