Montréal is home to many organizations working on AI safety, ethics, and governance: Mila, LawZero, HΩ, PauseAI, IVADO, CAISI, OBVIA... But do we actually function as a community, or are we just co-located?
The evening opens with a brief overview of the Montréal landscape — who's doing what, where the bridges are, where the gaps are — followed by structured small-group discussions around three questions:
What's missing in our ecosystem?
Who should be talking to whom?
What do we concretely do in the next few months?
