Article is confusing, says "No other imaging technique — not computed tomography (CT), not magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) — can do this."
In fact this technique is a (very cool!) subtype of magnetic resonance imaging. Wikipedia has much more information. Neat to hear that it's seeing more use though.
