There was a post that I read either on these forums or after following a link from a post here to some other site. It discussed techniques and discussed a pair of metrics for rating them: time to implement and value added (in my terms, maybe not theirs). It had caught my eye because it called techniques that took a long time but still generated added value "wizardry" techniques, but I have been unable to find it again using the search functionality here. I would really appreciate a link if someone knows the article I'm talking about.
