I'm not a mathematician or theorist, but I couldn't figure out how else to contact you, so I hope you'll forgive my sending you a message via comment--I'm writing a nonfiction book that has a section dealing with the halo effect, and I'm interested in looking at it from an evolutionary and/or--as you suggest is more appropriate--structural standpoint.
