The event is held here as one of our members has access to Buffalo Lab, which has a whiteboard and projector useful for meetings. It is 15-20 minutes away from UB by car. It is not held at UB as we have no UB students, and all efforts made so far to obtain space at UB were unproductive without a UB student, club, or professor. Even as UB alumni there are no means of obtaining a room for a meet up like this. We tried contacting UB Freethinkers and the CFI @ Amherst to see if they would be interested in granting us space. We received no response.
If you have any suggestions on a place to meetup, or are a UB student who can reserve a room. Let us know. At the moment our current active members like Buffalo Labs as it is near their homes in Cheektowaga. We recently started so we are still in a searching phase for both a place to meet and membership.
Buffalo Lab is "a community of technology enthusiasts who have come together to share our resources, knowledge, interests."
