Has anyone got some readings that they are planning on doing? So far the only one that stands out to me is where Harry defeats the dementor, Chapter 45.

Want to get more involved in EA Plymouth? Have a suggestion for events we should run? Really want the next social to be at your favourite pub? Just want to have a drink with like minded people?
THIS IS THE EVENT YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR
This meeting is open to anyone who's interested in becoming more involved in the direction and running of EA Plymouth, and those that want to make friends/contacts.
What happens next to this community is down to this community. Come help make these decisions!
Expect to hear some options and discussion about what the future of EA Plymouth might be.
You needn't do lots of preparation for this meeting, but if you did want to prepare, you might want to consider the following questions:
- What activities should we focus on for the next year?
- What specific experiments should we try out?

The chapters we want you to read are:
Occam’s Razor
Your Strength as a Rationalist
Absence of Evidence Is Evidence of Absence
Conservation of Expected Evidence
Hindsight Devalues Science
If you don't know what the Sequences are, think of them like a collection of blog posts which together form a pretty... (read more)

Hey gang -
We're doing another one of our sporadic but hugely enjoyable meetups. Kind of early this month but we thought it was worth it to avoid losing people for Christmas.
Pinkmans is getting busier and busier - any ideas about where we could go instead are very welcomed. Museum cafe is only open till 16:30, so we could meet at 14:30 and still get 2 hours in.
As it's Christmassy, we don't want to stress you out too much at all. So as a laid back event, you should all bring a "Thing" to share with the rest of the group that has improved your life, or will improve your... (read more)
Winter's drawing in, so this month we're getting comfortable in the Cosy Club. Hope to see you for our regular evening of good conversation, good drinks, and good people!
