Oh, agreed, and I didn't mean to imply otherwise. A lot of people in this thread seem to have concluded that while infanticide might not be immoral in itself it should be illegal for reasons to do with Schelling points or increased risk of developing sadistic tendencies. These are perfectly good reasons to not feel that infanticide should be legal despite agreeing with both propositions I listed.
