Hi! As with many writers in the community, Scott has the ability to cross-post anything he writes that he wants to. I think that some writers want to only cross-post things they think are frontpage/curated material, so I plan to emphasise more that the personal blogs are really yours, for whatever-you're-interested-in, and separate from the frontpage. On the other hand, at the minute I think it's often a good call not to cross-post explicitly political things, which e.g. Scott writes about regularly.
Either way I'll touch base with many of the writers before the move to LessWrong.com proper, to see if there's anything else that would be useful for them.
Yeah, Scott seemed to be very worried about crossposting any political stuff to LessWrong, since he doesn't want to accidentally drag LessWrong into flamewars and not change the culture of the site too much.
If you don't like discussion in the comments on slatestarcodex.com, and Scott hasn't cross-posted a post to this site, the closest you can get to a better discussion structure like exists on LW with upvotes/downvotes, readability, etc., is on the the SSC subreddit. The culture of discussion on the subreddit has a reputation for being much more politically incorrect than Scott is himself, or what he permits on his blog. So, if you check it out, your mileage will vary.
At the beginning of Lesserwrong Slate Star Codex was imported. It seems the last three months this didn't happen.
Did Scott decide that he doesn't want the synchronization anymore?
