I just woke up, slept one hour too little. I know it's going to be a shitty day.

However, I think we can agree that the chances of success tend to be higher under more optimal conditions. However, I agree with you that sometimes you have to jump straight in because even with the best conditions possible things can fail. I think you have to evaluate what you can do to make things optimal and let the rest go.
