Seriously... -2 karma for answering a question? Is anyone running a script to downvote comments at random or something?
For a while both that comment and its grandparent were being downvoted about equally, which I took to be an expression of opposition to the personal chatting in the middle of a different discussion.
When I saw them, both your comments were at -2 and bot Mexamark's comments were at 0.
