When I run into a radio button group that I have multiple answers for I select one randomly. (While taking this survey I literally flipped a coin.)

Edit: I'm not particularly arguing that occupation shouldn't have been checkboxes, but for something where most people will have a single answer, radio buttons do make the data a bit simpler to deal with.
